Our AKT Solar panels have been used in Roadside Telemetry for many years.

Now we've recently created a (patent pending) charge controller that fits in the junction box and makes a very convenient way to optimally charge either 6V or 12V batteries.

Here are a couple pictures of our 10W panels in use. Do get in touch if these could be helpful for you.

Of course they work really well in the sun.

FIrst Solar boat to cross the English Channel

AKT Solar Bike makes first ever solar powered crossing of the Western Sahara

Between April and May 2013, the AKT Solar bike completed the first ever solar powered bicycle crossing of the Western Sahara. It took 9 days and the bike covered 1275km powered only by the sun, with no pedalling or other external source of power.
